Really the only true difference here is how common or mainstream the particular preference is. So if a guy only exclusively dates blondes that is accepted as completely normal but if a girl (like Megan Fox) will only date a guy with tattoos it is considered a little strange.

At the end of the day it does not matter, embrace your uniqueness and go for what you really desire.
